Hi, I am Ellen.
I am an award-winning photojournalist based out of Central/Southern California. My specialties range from family portraits to special events, and I focus on providing tangible memories that will last forever.
I started taking portraits when I was a junior in high school. My sister needed senior pictures done and, since we couldn't afford to have them professionally taken, I was given my first opportunity to showcase my love for the art. Once my friends heard I was taking it more seriously, I began doing more and more senior portrait sessions and eventually, I couldn't put the camera down.
For 15 years, I have been honing my craft; my passion for creating authentic memories has only grown. I worked as photo editor for The Runner at California State University, Bakersfield, where I won an award for Best Cover Design from the California College Media Association.
